2. Applicability

These terms and conditions apply to your account as a tenant or landlord if you want to use the RentUrgent platform.

3. Function of the Platform and RentUrgent

3.1 RentUrgent provides a platform on the Website where Landlords can offer rental properties through advertisements (via email), and where Tenants (i) are informed about available rental properties, (ii) can create a profile of the property they are looking for, and (iii) can be informed by email about properties offered on third-party websites;

3.2 RentUrgent has only a 'bulletin board function' and is not otherwise involved in the conclusion of agreements between Tenants and Landlords;

3.3 You understand and accept that subscribing to a Subscription does not necessarily mean that you will actually find a rental property;

3.4 RentUrgent is not responsible for the content of information about properties sent via email and cannot guarantee that the property is actually available or that the information in the advertisement is correct and complete. If you encounter an advertisement at any time that you know or suspect is not current, correct, and/or complete, please report it as soon as possible to support@renturgent.com. We will then contact the relevant Landlord as soon as possible to further investigate this.

3.5 The Tenant is responsible for the settings of their search profile. Property emails are sent based on the settings of the Tenant. It may happen that the Tenant suddenly receives fewer or no property emails. However, the subscription continues because the Tenant can still use the platform and is responsible for the settings of the search profile.

4. Formation of the Subscription

4.1 The Subscription between you and RentUrgent is concluded after you have registered through the Website, completed the order form, and RentUrgent has confirmed this registration by email.

4.2 Mandate acceptance: By completing the order form, you give RentUrgent and our payment service provider permission, on the last page of the order form, to send instructions to your bank to debit your account in accordance with those instructions. You have the right to a refund from your bank according to the terms and conditions applicable to your bank. Always contact support@renturgent.com before reversing a payment at your bank. The payment obligation may still exist. A 'chargeback' is not the same as canceling your subscription.

5. Costs

5.1 As a Tenant, there are multiple subscriptions available. The current prices can be found on our website. The costs are charged monthly on the first day of your term. You have a notice period of 1 (read: one) month, unless you have ordered a subscription with a fixed period (e.g., 3 or 6 months). You can easily cancel online in your account, in the customer portal of the platform, or by email to support@renturgent.com; If you cancel with one month's notice, costs will be charged until the end date of your subscription. These costs are calculated exactly, per day.

5.2 Landlord – You can use RentUrgent for free to offer your property to tenants on RentUrgent. RentUrgent does not mediate but only provides the platform through which communication can take place between landlord and tenant. Other services such as viewings are not applicable;

6. Right of Withdrawal

6.1 If you, as a Tenant with a subscription, are not satisfied with how our platform has performed for you, you can get a refund of the paid subscription fee. Send an email to support@renturgent.com within 14 days after gaining access to the platform. You are not required to provide a reason.

7. Cancellation

7.1 You can cancel your subscription at any time with one month's notice, unless there is a fixed period as mentioned in Art. 5.1. If there is a fixed period, you can also cancel in advance, but your subscription will only end on the end date of the first period (e.g., 3 or 6 months). A subscription with a fixed period is automatically renewed after the end date (unless you cancel before the end date) and has a notice period of one month after the end date. RentUrgent informs you every month by email if a payment will be initiated via SEPA or, for example, credit card. These emails also provide information about canceling. You do not take any risk if you "forget" to cancel the subscription when you no longer need the platform;

7.2 Cancellation of your subscription can be done online through your account by logging in to https://renturgent.com and canceling your account by pressing the "cancel" button, canceling by email is also possible at support@renturgent.com

7.3 If there has been an offer like 'The first 14 days for 1 pound', you can cancel your subscription within the first 14 days so that no further costs will be charged. However, you can continue to use your subscription until the end date (of 14 days).

8. Payments

8.1 For Tenants, the Subscription Fee is paid by payment via iDeal, Credit Card, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Bank Transfer, or SEPA Direct Debit; If payment is not received by the due date, a late payment fee of £20 (applied once per case, regardless of the number of outstanding invoices) will be added to your total amount due.

8.2 For Landlords – Use is free;

9. Laws and Regulations

Dutch law applies to the Subscription, unless the laws and regulations of the customer's country require otherwise.
